I am a maths and physics nerd with a passion for coding. You can reach me on LinkedIn.

Mathematics

I have a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Oxford. I focused on the interplay of smooth structures and categorical algebra. In particular, I introduced and studied Manifold Tensor Categories, computed the centre of the String 2-group, and helped answer a question of Freed-Hopkins about the Virasoro group.

The manifold of simple objects of an Interpolated Quantum Group Category.

Coding

I have been coding since the age of 11 in a variety of programming languages (currently, mostly C++ and Python). While I have written most of my code for personal projects, I also gained practical experience through coding internships and applied coding during my Masters' and PhD. I built rela-tracer, a raytracer which incorporates special relativistic effects, and (with my friend Chris Dorn) hexbot, an AI which learns the game Hex through self-play and PPO.
